OVERVIEW
The ADVANCE 29 EVO is an ultra-reliable rim designed for Downhill and Super Enduro riding. Its 38.5 mm external width provides a larger tire contact patch for improved traction and stability, while the reinforced double-wall construction enhances overall strength and durability by effectively distributing stress and impact forces. The ridges on both sides of the rim feature a hollow structure that functions similarly to a dual-layer reinforcement, increasing structural rigidity and strength along the rim walls. This design helps reduce the risk of rim deformation and tire burping under aggressive riding conditions.
This rim uses a welded rim construction, which requires additional manufacturing processes compared to traditional sleeved or pinned rims. Although this increases production costs, it delivers one of the strongest and most reliable rim structures available. The perfectly smooth, gap-free welded joint helps prevent tubeless sealant leakage more effectively than conventional rim joints, while also making tubeless tape application and tire installation exceptionally easy and reliable.
